 Saudi Energy Efficiency Center 

The initiative replacement of the old air conditioners: 

The Saudi Energy Efficiency Center, in cooperation with government agencies, launched an initiative to replace window air conditioners with new air conditioners. With high efficiency and lower energy consumption, they support citizens with a thousand riyals for each citizen under the age of 21 to encourage them to replace them and keep the Saudi industry. (Estbdal initiative, n.d.)¹.This initiative contributes to a significant reduction in home energy consumption to conserve the Kingdom's energy and reduce pressure on it. (Saudi Energy Efficiency Center, n.d.)².

Initiative to raise energy efficiency in the light vehicle fleet:

The center has improved fuel economy in the industry to increase energy efficiency in light vehicles. It used to consume 18% of what the Kingdom consumes, equivalent to 180,000 barrels daily. The Saudi standard aims to improve the fuel economy rate by about 3% per year Until it moved from 12.5 km in 2015 to 18.4 km. As a result, the number of vehicles registered with excellent ratings and higher fuel economy increased by an average of 26%. (Saudi Energy Efficiency Center, n.d.)ᶟ.


Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority 

Spacing application initiative: 

With the Corona pandemic and the rapid spread of this disease, it was essential to launch applications to support the government in facing the Coronavirus and contribute to preserving citizens' health and safety. Therefore, the Ministry of Health created the "spacing" application in line with the health system. It sends immediate notifications to the devices of citizens registered in the application when they come into contact with an infected individual or if any known virus appears. (Saudi Data & Al Authority, 2019).

Smart Cities Accelerator Initiative:

 One of the projects started by the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) for Smart Cities, in collaboration with Plug and Play, aims to develop start-up businesses with intensive training and support for growth through the (Smart Cities Accelerator), by offering co-working spaces for businesses at all local and international levels. These spaces help build relationships, exchange ideas, and provide training and skills for growth and innovation. (Saudi Data & Al Authority, 2019)⁵.

The Global Artificial Intelligence Summit Initiative: 

Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman's support, the Global Summit on Artificial Intelligence brings together leading investors, influential policymakers, and entrepreneurs promoting artificial intelligence technologies. Also, the Summit employs artificial intelligence in several fields, including energy, which operates in solar panels and energy efficiency techniques, and the health field, which shortens the time and effort to diagnose cases as quickly as possible. Additionally, it is attempting to create a sustainable future for the Kingdom, which includes using AI to develop cognitive cities that benefit humanity, as seen in "NEOM." (Saudi Data & Al Authority, 2019).
